The FSA 45 grass trimmer / brush cutter is perfect for trimming lawn edges in smaller gardens. It is lightweight, quiet and simple to use, with a built-in Lithium-Ion battery that you plug in and charge, like you would charge a phone. The LED charge level indicator on the side of the tool shows you how much battery life is left at the touch of a button. The loop handle helps you to guide the trimmer exactly where you need it and is easily adjusted without the need for tools. The shaft is also extendable, whilst the mowing head can be turned on its side, which is particularly useful for vertical edge trimming. The FSA 45 comes with plastic Polycut blades, which are really quick and easy replace, without having to use any tools. They are extremely efficient and give a precise finish to the lawn. Pre-cut mowing line can also be fitted to the head but it is not included with the FSA 45 and will need to be bought separately. Activation tool The tool can only be used with the activation key. If the key is removed, the tool switches off to prevent it being started accidentally. A: To fully charge the battery it takes 210 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 145 minutes. QWhat size garden will it maintain? A: The FSA 45 is perfect for smaller gardens. QWhat battery does it use? A: The tool is powered by an 18V Lithium-Ion battery. QAre the batteries interchangeable? A: The batteries are integrated into the tool, so they are not interchangeable. QAre the PolyCut blades easy to change? A: The blades can be easily changed by simply locking them in position. No tools are needed. Tips #1Cleaning your FSA 45 When you have finished using the trimmer, remove the activation key and clean using a damp cloth or soft brush. #2Storing your FSA 45 We recommend that you store your FSA 45 grass trimmer with around 40%-60% charge (2 green LEDs), ideally within a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees centigrade. Store your FSA 45 in a clean and dry area and keep out of the reach of children at all times. #3PolyCut blades To get the most of the PolyCut blades, place them in a bucket of water for 12-24 hours before using them. This helps to make them more flexible and less likely to break. #4Check for wildlife Don’t forget to check your work area for wildlife before starting to use your tool. In particular, you should check for nesting birds before trimming hedges, as well as checking for other small animals such as hedgehogs before trimming long grass.

STIHL offer a 1 year professional warranty or 2 year domestic warranty with all of their machines. They also offer a 1 year warranty with their PPE.

We provide a low-cost delivery for certain small parcels of up to 2kg for orders under £99. This service is provided by Royal Mail (currently on a 7-12 working day/3-5 working day service if in stock and depending on your location). It's applicable on some accessories from Bosch, Festool, DeWalt, Trend, Fein and Makita. Some compact 18V body only tools will also qualify. This service won't accept any combustible items such as canisters, cartridges or lithium batteries.

NEW & Improved Secure Deliveries

PIN code verification at your doorstep

We've improved the security of our deliveries to you with DPD's PIN code verification system. We will be using this service on most orders to ensure your parcel gets to you securely.

You will receive a PIN code via text and/or email which you must recite to the delivery driver on arrival. If someone is receiving the parcel on your behalf, remember to pass on the code to them. The driver can also resend the PIN code to the original contact on arrival if required. This service requires a mobile phone number with your order so please ensure you provide one to take advantage.

- Our deliveries are very easy to track, plus you'll get a handy 1 hour delivery window so you know when to expect your items. You'll receive a tracking number with your 'order dispatched' email.

- Your VAT invoice is always in the box with your goods.

- Your goods are always securely packaged when leaving our warehouse. We strive to ensure your goods reach you in prime condition.

- Our main courier is DPD. We use DPD for the vast majority of our deliveries. APC and TNT handle other specific types of deliveries for us. In poor weather conditions our couriers may experience delays that are out of our control, however we will help you in every way possible to track delivery progress.

- Delivery to construction/job sites is possible, but done so at your own risk. Our service can deliver to an address, but we can't guarantee delivery to a specific person or location at the address. For the best outcome, please provide detailed courier instructions and a contact number that we can pass on to the courier.

- Delivery to 'safe place' is not available for most orders, someone must be present to receive your delivery. We do this to ensure our couriers deliver to the right person at the right address, to ensure your goods are not lost or stolen. Particularly as most orders are of high value.
