A: The battery will last up to 40 minutes or enough time to trim up to 80m² of hedges. This does depend on what is being cut and how the tool is being used. QHow long does it take to charge? A: To fully charge the battery it takes 210 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 145 minutes. QWhat size garden will it maintain? A: The HSA 45 is perfect for smaller gardens. QWhat battery does it use? A: The tool is powered by an 18V Lithium-Ion battery. QAre the batteries interchangeable? A: The batteries are integrated into the tool, so they are not interchangeable. QHow long is the blade on the HSA 45? A: The blade is 50cm long. QWhat should I wear when using this hedge trimmer? A: We recommend that you wear snug-fitting clothes, goggles, gloves and sturdy boots or shoes, and tie back long hair. QWhat size branches can I cut with the HSA 45? A: You can cut branches up to 8mm in diameter. QDoes the hedge trimmer come with a blade cover? A: Yes, your hedge trimmer comes with a scabbard to cover the blades during transport or storage. On new machines, the scabbard will be quite tight so you may need to use some force to remove it for the first few times. Just hold the scabbard about half way down and pull it away from you so your hands or body cannot come into contact with the blades. Tips #1Using the HSA 45 You will get a straighter cut on your hedges, if you move the hedge trimmer in an upwards motion when trimming. The HSA 45 has a handy tip protector at the end of the blades - this means you can trim closer to the ground without damaging the blades. #2Cleaning your HSA 45 When you have finished using the HSA 45, remove the activation key. We suggest spraying a little resin solvent, like STIHL Superclean, onto the blades to remove sap or resin, protect them from corrosion and stop them getting stuck together. #3Storing your HSA 45 We recommend that you store your HSA 45 hedge trimmer with around 40%-60% charge (2 green LEDs), ideally within a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees centigrade. Store it in a clean and dry area and keep out of the reach of children at all times.

We provide a low-cost delivery for certain small parcels of up to 2kg for orders under £99. This service is provided by Royal Mail (currently on a 7-12 working day/3-5 working day service if in stock and depending on your location). It's applicable on some accessories from Bosch, Festool, DeWalt, Trend, Fein and Makita. Some compact 18V body only tools will also qualify. This service won't accept any combustible items such as canisters, cartridges or lithium batteries.

PIN code verification at your doorstep

We've improved the security of our deliveries to you with DPD's PIN code verification system. We will be using this service on most orders to ensure your parcel gets to you securely.

You will receive a PIN code via text and/or email which you must recite to the delivery driver on arrival. If someone is receiving the parcel on your behalf, remember to pass on the code to them. The driver can also resend the PIN code to the original contact on arrival if required. This service requires a mobile phone number with your order so please ensure you provide one to take advantage.

- Our deliveries are very easy to track, plus you'll get a handy 1 hour delivery window so you know when to expect your items. You'll receive a tracking number with your 'order dispatched' email.

- Your VAT invoice is always in the box with your goods.

- Your goods are always securely packaged when leaving our warehouse. We strive to ensure your goods reach you in prime condition.

- Our main courier is DPD. We use DPD for the vast majority of our deliveries. APC and TNT handle other specific types of deliveries for us. In poor weather conditions our couriers may experience delays that are out of our control, however we will help you in every way possible to track delivery progress.

- Delivery to construction/job sites is possible, but done so at your own risk. Our service can deliver to an address, but we can't guarantee delivery to a specific person or location at the address. For the best outcome, please provide detailed courier instructions and a contact number that we can pass on to the courier.

- Delivery to 'safe place' is not available for most orders, someone must be present to receive your delivery. We do this to ensure our couriers deliver to the right person at the right address, to ensure your goods are not lost or stolen. Particularly as most orders are of high value.
